Our version of the Fitchée cross. This shape is believed to have evolved during the crusades and was designed with a sharp pointed bottom which could be driven into the ground.

These crosses had a swordlike shape which reflected the intent of the Crusaders to enforce their beliefs on the lands they invaded.

This is beautifully carved piece and the jade has been polished to a glowing sheen - a very striking piece of jewellery.
