A spectacular piece of wearable art for all BAT lovers! A beautiful design and wonderfully carved piece hand crafted from Deer antler crown. Fumio has carved this in Netsuke style and we have fitted a cord so that it can be worn as a pendant.

In myth, the bat is a creature of duality - a guardian of thresholds, bridging life and death, light and shadow. Ancient cultures revered it as a symbol of rebirth, its nocturnal flight embodying intuition and unseen mysteries, while in Mesoamerican lore, it guided souls through the underworld, a shapeshifting totem of transformation and cosmic balance.

The antler is dense and hard, it has been beautifully carved, creating a memorable little work of art!
