TOTOWEKA MATAU - jade hook pendant

Look at the remarkable colours in this gorgeous Matau (Hook) pendant. Carved from a mysterious and alluring piece of New Zealand Totoweka pounamu, its beauty is best seen in motion - watch the video to truly appreciate its depth.

This piece symbolises abundance, adventure, and safe travels. If intended as a gift, we suggest wearing it yourself for a day or two first. This is a wonderful tradition, allowing the pendant to carry your mana (spirit) forward with the recipient.

Carved for us by Shaun Gardiner, the pendant features a gentle, flowing design in semi-translucent jade that glows softly in the light. We'll let the photos and video speak to its captivating details.

Included in the package is our 'Kia Ora' card, which explains the meaning behind the Matau design.

TOTOWEKA MATAU is provided with an adjustable Manuka Green cord and lovingly packaged in a woven kete pouch.

Shaun is a fantastic New Zealand Jade Carver, and we are delighted to share some of his work with you. He is located in the heart of 'jade country' and works with some of the nicest stone we've seen.
