An exceptional work of carved art. This is a wonderfully creative piece made from a range of exotic and beautifully rich materials. Hand crafted for us by Yannis Petzold.
The Materials....
OCEAN PEACE is carved from a recycled piece of Lignum Vitae - a silky smooth, grainy and gorgeous wood that is beautifully finished.
The yin and yang inlays are Mother of Pearl and Turquoise, with New Zealand Pounamu and Lapis Lazuli used for the small round inlays. The pounamu and lapis lazuli are encased in brass.
The neck cord is in its own right a little work of art! A hand plaited, spiralled cord in brown that is a fixed length with a Paua Shell Toggle.
OCEAN PEACE is a very cool piece. It is silky smooth and exquisitely hand made by a fantastic New Zealand artist. Yannis has crafted this with the flair that you would expect to find in his work - and his craftsmanship is flawless.
