BAUHAUS is a contemporary drop pendant suspended from a silver clasp and silver chain. The jade is a very deep, dark New Zealand jade locally called Marsden. It is a faultless stone that produces brilliant carvings in the right hands.
BAUHAUS - a lovely, gentle pendant. Josey has exceptional talent working in jade. Her skill is subtle - she utilises the material's natural characteristics in fresh and expressive ways - in this case she uses clean lines to promote a simple shape with little decoration. The result - a stunning and original piece of jewellery.
The front face is convex and flawlessly carved - the back face is slightly concave and has a silky smooth handle.
