Perhaps you're looking for an incredibly special and unique corporate gift? Look no further - this may be the piece for you.

Hand carved from stunning New Zealand Auhunga Jade, this 'one off' work of art depicts a Taniwha - described by the Encyclopedia of New Zealand website as follows:

Supernatural creatures – some terrifying, others protective – are legendary in Māori tradition. Known as taniwha, they lurked in watery dens, or in caves, and were often depicted as dragons or serpents, with fiery eyes and lashing tails. Crucial to the stories of deadly taniwha were the heroic slayers, who triumphed with their cunning and courage.

The Stone used for this piece is a fascinating Auhunga Jade. It is cut from a boulder and carved from the outer rind into the centre. The top is a semi translucent crisp apple green colour, while the bottom half is a pale, cloudy white and minty green culminating in a sunset orange gold. This is the mineralised crust, the youngest part of the stone.

This piece of New Zealand Auhunga Jade is EXQUISITE!
