HONEY CREME - the colours of our favourite honey

This wonderful bangle is made of hand-carved woolly mammoth tusk pieces which we have set into a solid sterling silver bracelet. The bracelet slips straight on and off the arm (no clasp).

This is a solid piece we designed with selected pieces of mammoth tusk to highlight the beautiful soft tones in the material and its marvellous grain. The tusk we've used is a very mellow honey colour displaying the grain that makes this material so interesting and alluring.

The Mammoth Tusk used for this piece is CERTIFIED 34,690 YEARS OLD (+/- 815 years). 

We had our mammoth material carbon dated to get an accurate measure of its age. The testing was done for us by GNS Science, a New Zealand Crown Research Institute and New Zealand's leading provider of Earth, geoscience and isotope research - so their assessment of this material is as accurate as is possible using radiocarbon dating technology.  

Ancient material inset in polished Sterling Silver - a beautiful decoration for your arm!

The silver is buffed and 'rough' polished to give it a little character and leave the signs of the handwork evident.
