A beautiful, thoughtful twist pendant carved in bone. Here's what the artist, Andrew Doughty, has to say about this piece...

This taonga is named Mutunga Kore meaning endless, eternal, perpetual, infinite. It contains the shape of the figure eight. This symbolises eternal life and a perfect love that contains no beginning and no end. At another level the symbol of eight represents new beginnings.

Together this symbolises a new love that lasts forever.

At the bottom there is an inlay of pāua. This represents the awakening of spiritual wholeness that empowers us to bring a perfect love and benefit to others.

MUTUNGA KORE is carved from natural bone with Pāua Shell inlay.

Andrew has paired this lovely twist with a Brown adjustable cord.

Included in your package is a description of the carving from the artist.
