SOOTHSAYER
In stock
A beautiful pekapeka! A marvellously spiritual piece that is believed to represent a native New Zealand bat, a tiny creature that flies at night and holds quite some spiritual significance. Some believe that this design may also represent two intertwined bird forms. One thing is certain, this is a beautiful example of this traditional carving.
SOOTHSAYER was hand carved in deer antler. The eyes are a bright New Zealand paua - renowned for the depth of its striking colours.
The manaia shape represents the connection between the past and the present. Some believe that it provides a communion with ancestors - a means to connect with important people in our past.
This pendant has a Kalahari coloured cord necklace, which is adjustable - a very cool piece of art to wear.
SEE THROUGH ME - wear it for protection, and carry your ancestral spirits with you on your journey through life.
