This is a lovely, slender piece, beautifully designed, carved and finished. Tonijae has used a staining technique that draws out and accentuates parts of the design - subtle contrasts that are unique to her work. The stain is a natural tea dye she makes for this purpose - natural and non-toxic!

Tonijae has left the stained bone matte and has polished the natural bone to a lovely sheen. This adds a somewhat ethereal appearance to this gorgeous piece of art.
