GOT YOUR BACK - A Large Traditional Manaia Pendant, Hand Carved in Pounamu with Striking Pāua Shell eyes.

Hand carved for us by Donna Summers, GOT YOUR BACK is made from New Zealand jade with beautifully formed and coloured pāua shell eyes. A magnificent piece of art to wear.

GOT YOUR BACK is a manaia design. A guardian in jade. This manaia pendant is carved to honor the past and draw upon ancestral wisdom, offering strength for the future.

Take a moment to watch the short video we have made which shows the pendant slowly rotating. This will give you a very clear picture of the shape nuances and the colour of the stone - it's well worth the few moments it will take you to watch it.

The Manaia: a mythical being believed to be the invisible light, or aura, surrounding a person. They represent spiritual power and are believed to be the guide that leads the spirits to heaven. They are worn to guide and protect.

This pendant will be delivered to you with Express Courier on an adjustable cord. We will also include our 'Kia Ora' card, which explains the meaning behind the Manaia design.
