WAYLEGGO
In stock
WAYLEGGO - term used by Kiwi shepherds to call a dog back. Often followed with 'get in behind!'.... and then it all goes downhill from there..
Master carver, Ross Crump, has created these stunning dog whistle pendants for us and we love em'!
These are a classic tool used by kiwi musterers up and down New Zealand. I have used these working as a shepherd in the big hill country on New Zealand's North Island - the only way to give a dog instructions over long distances.
Carved from New Zealand jade and fully functioning - they just need practice to master and use.
NOTE: We have these in two sizes - the measurements are below. Use the drop-down menu to select the size that you would like, use the cord colour as a guide.
If you'd like us to change the cord just make a note of what you'd like in the comments field at the checkout.
We make these with a longer cord which is adjustable, so they are made to be used.
NOTE: WORKS WELL FOR ALL HUNTAWAYS, HEADING DOGS, HEELERS, MOST HOUSE DOGS, AND THE BOSS. USEFUL FOR GETTING THE NEIGHBOURS ATTENTION.
DISCLAIMER - DODGY PERFORMANCE WITH BEARDIES - but I've never seen a whistle that works on those boys!
