A joint loop, free to move, carved from one piece of stone.
“We find we are all made from the same stuff”.
This piece was no less than difficult to make. An experiment in reversing the usual jewellery style of stone on metal to create metal on stone. The whole ensemble of material attached to material creates a juxtaposition where everything is actually separated together to create an organic fusion of filigree carving.
HONONGA is suspended with a Sterling Silver chain.
