KAWAKAWA TOKI

Meet KAWAKAWA TOKI, a powerful little toki crafted from a gorgeous, deep green piece of kawakawa pounamu.

Exquisite jade carvings by Reuben Tipene, a Māori artist and carver, who honours the ancient art while incorporating his life experiences into his work.

Carved from New Zealand Kawakawa Pounamu, Jade.

The Jade Rueben has used is exquisite! Classic New Zealand Kawakawa jade - with a wonderful translucent bottom edge, colour variation that adds to the mystery and beauty of this piece.

The perfect pendant for adventurers who would like to carry a piece of Aotearoa, New Zealand with them on their journey.

A LITTLE ABOUT THE TOKI'S MEANING AND SIGNIFICANCE...

The toki, or adze, is a symbol of strength - the adze was a key survival tool, used to build, hunt and defend. Traditionally, the toki is worn to provide strength and courage, to assist through life's challenges, and the koru is a symbol of rebirth, growth and new beginnings.

We include our 'Kia Ora' card, explaining the meaning behind the Toki design.
