Black jade

Wow!

In 1965 black jade was discovered by a farmer on his property at Cowell on the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia. It is known as 'Cowell' jade and comes in a range of colours from deep, jet black through pale grey and a myriad of beautiful blue/greens.

We have a small range of gorgeous carvings, hand made in New Zealand. This combination of New Zealand carving skill and gorgeous Australian Cowell jade has produced absolutely beautiful pendants that we are delighted to offer!

Something to keep in mind when looking for a special gift - jade is the symbol stone for a married couple's 35th wedding anniversary.
