Yannis Petzold of Ocean Inlays has designed and created his unique jewellery since 1999 and we are delighted to have a selection of his work available for sale.

In my studio in Raglan, Aotearoa/New Zealand I handcraft one-off original pieces, seamlessly joining noble materials, capturing eye and mind with an aesthetic balance of the natural and the mystical using strong geometric shapes.

Drawing inspiration from the surrounding wild and windy west coast, its ocean and surf, sacred geometry and the cosmos, my work combines noble and exotic materials with an emphasis on recycling - to be as ethical as possible.

Matariki (the Pleiades constellation) has been a theme in my creations calling in New Beginnings, Reflections, Whãnau and a connection to Aotearoa and the seasons.

Every piece is a one of a kind bespoke creation.

Yannis's jewellery has won a loyal following both in Aotearoa and internationally, and he continues to surprise and inspire with his exciting creations.

He gives credit to Master carver Chris Bones with whom he apprenticed when he was 18 years old.

Yannis takes pride in his pendants… how they are created to last and become special amulets.
