The Sky Sage

Akasha means infinite sky. Muni means silent sage. This turquoise Buddha represents boundless awakening.

The stone comes from Nevada's legendary No. 8 mine, known for producing turquoise with deep, saturated blues and a dark web-like matrix. Its colour shifts from cerulean to sea-green depending on the light. The polished surfaces are smooth to the touch highlighting the raw matrix which retains its ancient texture.

The gorgeous form was liberated from rough stone through patient craftsmanship.

Cool initially, the stone warms against the skin and is a wonderful reminder this material has travelled 100 million years from volcanic ash to this gem.

Turquoise protects, purifies, and activates the throat chakra. It clears mental chatter and expands awareness. This piece is wholly one-of-a-kind - its natural markings are a record of the stone's own history.
