OCEAN GIANT is a commanding Matau pendant, hand-carved from vibrant, rare Aotea stone from New Zealand’s South Westland. This substantial piece, measuring 72mm in length, features a strong, angular design that emphasises both its formidability and elegance.

The matau, or fishhook, is a timeless symbol of prosperity, abundance, and safe passage over water. As an essential tool for sustenance and survival, it represents strength, determination, and a deep connection to the ocean. Worn for guidance and protection, the matau is believed to attract good fortune and help one safely navigate life’s journeys.

Carved with bold lines and a powerful silhouette, this pendant honours both tradition and contemporary artistry.
