Hand carved moon face necklace made from Woolly Mammoth tusk.

Carved from a very special piece of ancient tusk handcrafted into an attractive and unique necklace. These are beautiful, delicate pendants in the gorgeous pale, golden hues that are unique to mammoth tusk.

We have two options available; please use the drop-down menu to make your selection. Option one is provided with a 54cm Sterling Silver chain and Option Two is provided with a 50cm Sterling Silver Chain.

We had our mammoth material carbon dated to get an accurate measure of its age. The testing was done for us by GNS Science, a New Zealand Crown Research Institute and New Zealand's leading provider of Earth, geoscience and isotope research - so their assessment of this material is as accurate as is possible using radiocarbon dating technology.  

The chain and surrounds are Sterling Silver.
