KOKAKO
In stock
The inspiration for this piece is the South Island Saddleback - the KOKAKO
The KOKAKO is now thought to be extinct - so we've brought it back and in the loveliest jade imaginable for this piece! These birds had an orange wattle at the base of the beak, a dark hooded face mark and black eyes. We have picked the wattle colour up in our cord - a fantastic tribute to a beautiful bird.
KOKAKO is chunky and solid. We have hand-plaited a heavy cord in Burnt gold and Khaki. The cord is length adjustable.
The Flower Jade Sheree has used is lovely - pale greens and a slight orange tinge with dark, veinous inclusions - it is expressive and interesting.
Check out the video - this will give you a good look at the design and shape as well as the wonderful variation in the jade - well worth a look!
Delivery with Express Courier is included in the price.
