Description

LIGHT AHEAD - This is a beautiful notched flower jade toki pendant! The jade is gorgeous with splashes of gold, orange and subtle hints of green.

This larger toki pendant is crafted from New Zealand flower jade, featuring a pale orange colour accentuated by a pale minty green hue towards the bottom of the blade.

The design retains the classic adze form, symbolising strength and utility. The neck cord is attached with a traditional binding, known as the "lashing," which wraps the head of the toki, representing the secure attachment of the stone blade to its neck cord. 

The notches along the outsides signify the wearer's family and community, and serve as a tangible connection to their personal history and support system.

LIGHT AHEAD is packaged in a woven kete pouch.
