THE ADMIRAL is a gorgeous deep green toki, a chunky, bold and loud pendant carved from a beautiful piece of New Zealand greenstone.

THE ADMIRAL has been polished to a soft matte finish - perfect for this particular piece of jade. It highlights the changes in structure and colour in the stone and produces an outstanding look and feel.

As an adornment, the Toki, or Adze, is said to bring courage and strength in times of adversity. It is a symbol of courage and strength in times of adversity and is often worn by Maori elders as a symbol of power, wisdom and authority.

Maori believe that carvings carry the spirit of those who wear them, becoming an important family Taonga (treasure) passed on to future generations of the family as an heirloom.
