THE GOLDEN HOUR - a medium sized, gorgeous organic piece of jade art to wear, hand carved by Shaun Gardiner.

This piece tells a story written by nature. Carved from a unique slice of New Zealand Marsden jade, it highlights the journey of the stone itself. The distinct, layered colours are a record of its environment - warm, sandy orange tones at the top gracefully bleed into a soft, pale green at the base, a beautiful result of natural mineral exposure and weathering.

Artist Shaun Gardiner has shaped this material into a graceful koru, allowing the stone's own history to become the central feature. The pendant's smooth, organic form is a perfect canvas for this natural artistry - a one-of-a-kind, wearable landscape.

THE GOLDEN HOUR is provided with an adjustable Pineapple cord and packaged in a woven kete pouch.

Shaun is a fantastic New Zealand Jade Carver, and we are delighted to share some of his work with you. He is located in the heart of 'jade country' and works with some of the nicest stone we've seen.
