TIDEWORN - a jade pāua shell pendant

Carved from striking totoweka pounamu, this petite pāua shell pendant captures the essence of the ocean in stone. The jade’s beautiful green base is flecked with the characteristic blush of red - like the first hint of sunset on a tidal pool.

Meticulously shaped to mirror the organic curves of a real pāua shell, the carving shows lovely attention to detail, from the subtle ridge along its back to the smooth, inviting hollow of its interior. Finished in a silky matte polish, the surface feels like a well-worn treasure plucked from the shore, cool to the touch yet warming with wear.
