VIRTUOSO - a symphony in stone

This is the matau reimagined – an elongated curve of buttery green pounamu, polished to a silken finish that begs to be touched. The fluted detailing along its spine catches light like a musical score, transforming this ancient fishhook into something unexpectedly sensual, undeniably modern.

Wear it and feel the rhythm of the ocean in its flowing lines – composed by nature, perfected by craft.

A Matau pendant signifying abundance, adventure and safe travels. This is a gorgeous piece carved for us by Shaun Gardiner.

Included in the package is our 'Kia Ora' card, which explains the meaning behind the Matau design.

Shaun is a fantastic New Zealand Jade Carver, and we are delighted to share some of his work with you. He is located in the heart of 'jade country' and works with some of the nicest stone we've seen.
