Welcome to our selection of hand carved artworks by Andrew Doughty.

Andrew carves predominantly in bone but is also a highly skilled and creative jade carver. He is a thoughtful artist who has high regard for the tradition of carving and its significance in local Māori culture. This is reflected in his work which is often traditional, reaching for connections with designs bedded in history.

His pieces are all named by Andrew and each has a story to tell. These are stories that will be built on when these pieces find their homes.

All of Andrew's work is beautifully crafted from local materials. His craftsmanship is superb and each piece is beautifully finished.

These carvings are works of art, and are made to be worn.
